چکیده
Abstract The Asian citrus psyllid, Diaphorina citri (Kuwayama) (Hemiptera: Liviidae), is a severe pest of orchards worldwide. Its control based mainly on the use conventional insecticides, and resistance to many those compounds widespread. Phenotypic bioassays detect compare response field-collected population with laboratory-reared that susceptible insecticides. This comparison usually does not involve counterpart since its existence currently rare. We found an isolated field D. living wild host, orange jasmine (Murraya paniculata [L.] Jack). Considering lifetime fly capacity, gene flow any insecticide-treated was nonexistent or negligible. Thus, we determined in fourth-instar nymphs unsexed 2- 5-d-old adults commercial formulations commonly used insecticides chlorpyrifos, malathion, imidacloprid, spinosad. In bioassays, insects were placed leaf discs previously immersed for 10 s respective insecticide concentrations. For adults, lowest concentration–mortality chlorpyrifos (lethal concentration 50 [LC50] 0.72 mg L-1 lethal 95 [LC95] 1.02 L-1). highest toxicity malathion (LC95 0.05 observed spinosad (LC50 0.007, LC95 0.021 estimated LC50 values lower than documented worldwide these populations citri.

Susceptibility of Dysdercus spp.Boisdural (Hemiptera: Pyrrhocoridae)to selected synthetic pyrethroid insecticides
Dysdercus species are important pests of cotton because of their staining effect on cotton lint. Chemical control, using the newer generation of insecticides known as the synthetic pyrethroids, is the most important method of control of these pests on cotton in Kenya at present. Susceptibility studies were conducted using three pyrethroids, namely Cypermethrin, Fenvalerate and permethrin agains...

Introduction: An estimated population of 40% of Hormozgan province, southern Iran, live mainly in mountainous areas in close contact with Anopheles Fluviatilis. This specie has highly exophilic and anthropophilic behaviors and is one of major malaria vectors in the mountainous areas of Hormozgan province. This study was conducted to assess the irritability and susceptibility level of An. Fluv...

Cimex lectularius L. is a widespread hematophagus insect pest around the world and is currently experiencing a reemergence as a public health pest of concern. One possible source of bed bugs to the human environment is the movement of bed bugs from poultry facilities to human structures by poultry workers. No recent studies have been conducted on the susceptibility of this insect to a wide rang...
متن کاملSusceptibility and Resistance of Field Populations of Anopheles sinensis (Diptera: Culicidae) Collected from Paju to 13 Insecticides
OBJECTIVES Over 20% of all malaria cases reported annually in the Republic of Korea (ROK) occur in Paju, Gyeonggi Province. Vector control for malaria management is essential, but the insecticide resistance of the vector, Anopheles mosquitoes, has been a major obstacle in implementing effective control. In this study, the insecticide resistance of the vector mosquitoes was evaluated and compare...
